Community Group Questions - 02/10/10

  1. Do you struggle to believe that God can use you?  What would be different about your life if you truly began to believe that God could use you in a massive way?
  2. What did you like about Peter's story?  What did you dislike?  What questions did it raise?  How did God speak to you?
  3. Peter, his companions, and the crowd were all astonished by what Jesus did.  Only Peter and a few others put feet to their astonishment, though.  It took courage and sounded crazy at the time, but it changed their lives.  When was the last time you took a step of obedience that seemed utterly foolish at the time, but in which you've seen God use that step to bless you or to bless others?
  4. How free are you today?  Do you feel like your life is up to you?  Do you find yourself trying to initiate?  What do you need to surrender to God?
