Robert Grisham

I grew up just north of here, in Munford, TN. I've been going to church all my life, but it didn't really make an impact in my life until high school, where I began to understand what it meant to truly follow Jesus. After high school I went to Union University, where I received a degree in music. While at Union I met Mandy. After a few years of agonizing long-distance dating, we married, in June, 1999.
Mandy had no idea the guy she was marrying when she said "I do." Six months after getting married, I shared with her that I thought God might be calling us to move to the San Francisco Bay area so that I could go to seminary. That was definitely not a part of the five-year plan! Nonetheless, six months later we were there. Our nine-year marriage has been filled with adventure, and I am extremely grateful for her patience and her love. She currently stays home with our two boys, Adam and Micah. In her spare time (if that's possible), she coordinates KidsPlace, is a part of NC's Outward Team, and is the moderator of the Cooper-Young Parent's Network yahoo group.
I have been involved in church planting for ten years and have helped to start several new churches, both in Tennessee and in California. I've been singing since I was eight, and leading worship since I was 18. Today I split my time working with Neighborhood Church and as a property manager. I'm also a board member for the Cooper-Young Community Association.
